With the general idea to highlight the contrast of the softness and frailty of the human body against the rugged, jagged and crumbling settings of abandoned buildings. This project has been one that I have brainstormed over a decade and approached delicately. With a handful of sessions photographed between 2013 and 2019 I decided in January 2020 to no longer do family portraits and weddings and dedicate any and all spare time to finally make the project come together.
Collaboration is the foundation of the project. Everyone that I photograph for it is done solely on a collaborative basis.
