Photography has been a passion of mine for nearly 20 years. After receiving my degree in photography I spent my early adult years photographing portraits, weddings and doing freelance work for a local newspaper. Today I focus mainly on documenting railroads, abandoned buildings, often referred to as urbex, and creating boudoir and nude portraits in abandoned buildings. I have named this series, Life Amongst Decay.
Im located in western North Carolina but travel often, not only for photographic purposes but also with my "real job" as a truck driver. Taking any chance I get to photograph scenes I find on the road and occasionally the planned portrait session. I often travel to neighboring states for portrait sessions and explores.
When I am not behind the camera or steering wheel you can find me spending time with my family and cooking.
Having photographed trains for nearly two decades I am proud to announce my first book, Railroading in Western North Carolina. Featuring photographs of trains throughout the western portion of the Tar Heel State.
